Another round of Honours & Awards for RAF Halton personnel

RAF Halton’s Station Commander, Group Captain Simon Harper has presented Honours and Awards to Station personnel in a ceremony at the Rothschild Mansion that is Halton House Officers’ Mess.  Recipients were encouraged to invite family, friends and work colleagues to the ceremony where Group Captain Harper welcomed them, saying: “This is one of the most enjoyable jobs I do, it is a privilege and a great pleasure to present these well deserved awards.  We could not do what we do and earn these awards without the support of family and friends.”

Seven Operational Service Medal Afghanistan with Clasp, were presented to Flt Lt Giles Fowler, SMTW; Flt Sgt Mary Nash and Sgt Mary-Lee Mallinson, ACS; Cpls’ Jon Elwood, SMTW, and Katherine Wood, RAFP; and SAC Georgia Jenkins, RMC.

Two Royal Warrants went to Warrant Officers Calum Mac Intyre, RMC, and John Porter, ACS.

Cpl Kirsty McAdam from RTS was awarded RAF Sporting Colours.
