Cup of Tea? Nice Piece of Cake?

RAF Halton’s Soldiers, Sailors, Air Force Association (SSAFA) held another Big Brew Up morning at the Trinity Community Centre and Airmen’s Command Squadron.

The Big Brew Up, normally held in October, is SSAFA’s biggest, easiest and most enjoyable fundraising event of the year. By putting the kettle on and getting a few biscuits in, SSAFA raise thousands of pounds for the Forces and their families.

SSAFA is a charity that does whatever it takes to get things done. They provide practical support and assistance to servicemen and women, veterans, and their families, every single day of the year.

Paul Moore, Halton’s SSAFA case worker said: “The money raised will go to supporting families at RAF Halton alone.

The amount raised for the Big Brew Up has not all yet been collected but is estimated to be £410.”
