RAF Halton send hampers out to detached personnel

Royal Air Force Halton’s Personnel Management Squadron has worked with Botham’s Hampers to create a luxury hamper of goodies to send to personnel who are deployed on operational duties.

Botham’s Luxury Hampers is a family business based in Whitby and is run today by the great grandchildren of the founder Elizabeth Botham and her husband, John.  After WW2 the business passed to their son, Neville, who passed it on to his children who still run it today.

Squadron Leader Tracey Bottrill, Officer Commanding Personal Management Squadron, said: “Personnel at Halton sampled the goodies before approving the final order and everyone involved in the tasting was most impressed”.
