Remembrance Sunday

“They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old: Age shall not weary them nor the years condemn,At the going down of the sun and in the morning,We shall remember them.”

Fourth Stanza of “for the fallen” by Laurence Binyon.

The eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month marks the signing of the Armistice on the 11th November 1918 to signal the end of World War One. On this day, we also remember the fallen of all the wars.

Here at RAF Halton many service personnel paid their respects by attending parades at: Aylesbury, Berkhamstead, Hemel Hempstead, Wendover, Aston Clinton and Halton.
